Hestia

Hestia- The first child of Kronos and rhea, the first child to be swallowed by Cronos and the last to be disgorged. She did what she could do in the war against the Titans and Gods but, she is only the virgin goddess of the hearth, cooking and domestic harmony. She as the peaceful one steps down from the Olympian twelve to the newcomer Dionysus to prevent conflict. She would never take place in the usal conflicts going on from god to god because of her passive outlook.

She once had offers from Poseidon and Apollo for her hand in marriage but she refused and asked Zeus to grant her eternal virginity. Zeus who was pleased with this gave her the keys to Mount Olympus. Where she tends the fire of Olympus in the middle of the throne room. She had some of her fire stolen from her by Prometheus who gave it to the humans on Earth. In her temples- which is in every single city in Greece- her followers The Vestal Virgins would vow to be a virgin but, if they wondered of the path they would be buried alive.
